Privacy policy

Who this is about

This policy covers the website sodolynska.com, operated by Sodolynska Lab, 6370 Sunset Blvd, Unit 705, Hollywood, CA 90028. It describes what the website does with information about visitors. Anything discussed, filled in or photographed during an appointment at the studio is handled separately and is not covered here.

What the website collects from you

Nothing that you type. There is no contact form, no newsletter signup, no account and no payment on this site. Booking happens on an outside service, and that is described below.

Two things happen anyway, as they do on any website:

• Hosting records. The site is hosted by Vercel, and its servers keep standard request records — the address of the page requested, your IP address, your browser type and the time. These are technical records kept to run and protect the site, not to identify you.
• One item stored in your browser. When you close the first-visit discount notice, the site writes a single timestamp into your browser's local storage so the notice does not appear again for a while. It stays on your device, it contains no personal information, and clearing your browsing data removes it. The site sets no cookies of its own.

No analytics, no advertising

This site runs no analytics service, no advertising pixel and no session recording. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no heatmaps. Nobody is counting which treatment pages you opened or how long you stayed.

This matters more here than on an ordinary business website. The pages on this site are about scars, surgery, mastectomy and skin conditions, and what a person reads here can say something private about their health. It is not being recorded.

Outside services this site touches

Some parts of the page are loaded from other companies, and when your browser fetches them it tells those companies your IP address, as it does with any external file on any site:

• Google Fonts — the typefaces used on this site.
• Cloudflare cdnjs — the animation library that drives the page transitions.

Other services are only reached if you choose to click through to them, and once you are there their own privacy policies apply, not this one:

• GlossGenius — online booking. Your name, contact details and appointment are handled by GlossGenius under their terms.
• Instagram and Google Maps — links to the studio's profile and to directions.

The studio's Instagram posts are shown here as still images and video files served from this site, not as an embedded Instagram widget, so Instagram is not told that you visited this page.

What is never done

• Personal information is not sold, rented or traded.
• It is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.
• No profile of you is built, and no cross-site tracking takes place.

If you are in California

California residents have the right to know what personal information a business holds about them, to ask for it to be deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. This website does not sell or share personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of — but the rights to ask, correct and delete still apply to anything the studio holds. Write or call using the contacts below and the request will be answered. You will not be treated differently for making one.

Because the site does not track visitors, there is nothing for a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off.

Children

The studio's services are for adults, and this website is not directed at children. No information is knowingly collected from anyone under 16.

Changes

If what the site does changes — for example if an analytics tool or a contact form is ever added — this page is updated before that happens, and the date at the top changes with it.
